present utopias

The word utopia comes from the Greek words U-topos –meaning No-place– and Eu-topos –meaning "the good place". Does this mean there is no good place on earth at all then?

Watch the result of an amazing year-trip by activists John Jordan and Isabelle Fremeaux, experiencing life in post-capitalist 'utopias' – from a free-love commune in an ex Stasi base to a farm where private property has been abolished or an anarchist school in Spain (subtitles only in French).

"Utopias are not perfect, just better than what we have now".
